What a fantastic weekend of football in our first ever club festival. I think we can all agree the event was a tremendous success with 1,168 players across 146 teams travelling from across Herts, Beds and Bucks.
The weather was a difficult challenge especially on day one but this did not dampen the mood for the festival.
This event would not of been possible without the sheer dedication and selfless acts of kindness from the army of volunteers. Many of who gave roughly 24 hours of support from friday evening through to sunday afternoon.
I need to emphasis the importance of this event for the clubs future and stability. It enables the club can offer continued cost effective football to as many children as possible within our community.
It was quite evident, there is a real sense of belonging and pride towards this wonderful football club within our community.
Warm Regards,
